thoughts on integrity

pants - self made
blazer - zara
shirt - vintage

for years on end
i walk around in my bright skirts and dresses
telling everyone how i really really really hate pants..
and how i think satin is only for lingerie and bedding
and should never be worn in public
..
and here i am.. in public
wearing satin pants

    1. thanks, caroline.. i love sewing pants, actually.. it's way easier than many people think (but, than again, maybe it's just my experience, cause burda pants fit me with no alterations needed)

  5. I hate pants too! I wore jeans for the first time in 6 months this week because of the weather. It wasn't as bad as I anticipated, but I would much rather wear a dress. Glad to know someone else feels the way I do.

    1. :) while pants are starting to grow on me, jeans are still too much out of my comfort zone (i don't have any jeans actually.. no, i lie, i have one pair from the 70's, haven't wore them in over a decade, but i refuse to get rid of them)

  8. I want to steal this whole outfit but you look pretty amazing in these groovy pants. I have those kind of arguments with myself and end up proving myself wrong a lot. And I kind of like proving myself wrong ;).

  10. The explanation is simple! You simply hadn't seen anyone with pants that were to your taste, and they weren't using the satin in beautiful ways. You don't have either problem, those pants are fantastic!

  11. I love them! I'm going through a major yellow moment right now, and they look so nice with the blue jacket and shoes. If anyone mentions it, just say "my style is constantly evolving" and look a bit smug.

    1. hehe, yeah.. "my style is constantly all over the place" would explain it even better :) (but i wouldn't have it any other way, really)

  12. Such beautiful pants! I love how colourful they are, as well as the whole outfit. Btw, I'm the same when it comes to integrity - when I say I don't like something, I usually end up making that thing. Then again, to be willing to try new stuff is a good thing in my book!
