golden buttons






jacket - self made
dress - self made
heels - peacocks
bag - no name

i accidentally inspired oona 
..
her shiny dress inspired me
to finish this jacket that was abandoned in september
..
i originally planned to use blue buttons
but.. damn.. there is not enough sparkle in blue
..

    Your jacket is really cool, did you use a pattern? The color is perfect for fall!

    thank you.. yep, i used a pattern from burda magazine (10/2010, mod 126).. changed it a bit, original jacket is supposed to be made out of leather, and without linning, but i used wool, and linned the jacket entirely..

    Oh I really love the style of your jacket and the Golden buttons really give it a pleasant sparkle. This inspires me to get started on the jacket I picked out to make this season, but with Everything going on, I just don't know if I'll get to it soon...

    melissa - hope you gonna find some time to make your sparkly jacket :)
    ..
    paunnet - it depends on your camera.. i have old nikon camera d40, and lens autofocus does not work with this camera, so i have to focus manually (that results in lots of blurry photos).. if your camera is compatible with lens, and autofocus work, it's still not enough.. you gonna need a remote to capture your photo (cause you have to be in front of the camera, so that lens can focus on you).. hope my shmenglish is making any sens to you

    oona - yup, socks over ugly ripped tights :) sparkly blue buttons.. mmmm.. would go amazing with green jaket, oh yeah
