top - burda (2/2015, #128)
shorts - burda (10/2010, #111)

would you believe that the top i'm wearing here
is actually this one:

while i did skip all the seams at back
front and sleeve seams are all there (somewhere)
but the print totally hides them
..
i adore the top and fabric
but it kind of looked like missed opportunity
so i made few more tops using the same pattern
but played a bit with fabrics
in order to show all those seams
(gonna post about those other tops, eventually)
..

  1. The fabric totally ate all the seams, but as long as you like the result, it's fine! *^o^*
Show us the other tops, please!

  4. Cool top; its very pretty and looks nice and comfy! I like the seams on it, even though they don't show up much in the print :)

  5. Hehe, I really never would have guessed that there are hidden seams :-) The top looks very nice though, so that's not a loss? I am looking forward to seeing your other versions!

    1. not a loss at all :) it's silly, though.. you can't even notice those seams irl, until you're really really close to them

  6. Magic seams! I like it! Sometimes a garment where you go "How is this put together" is amazing & thought provoking!

  7. no … are they the same :) … well seams are not just decoration they influence also the fit and the way a garment hangs …. and your top fits beautifully and looks gorgeous - not seeing the seams is of no importance whatsoever. I love it !

  8. Ah, that's how this top looks on a "normal" person. I saw the pattern in Burda and thought it would look bulky from the side. Well, it absolutely doesn't. You look adorable. It's perfect for spring, isn't it?!

    1. it's absolutely perfect for spring.. and it's not bulky at all (not in these version, as this rayon is pretty drapey.. may be a bit more bulky in some of the other versions).. but i did made it one size smaller than i usually would
