this is going to be one kinda strange post
as i'll just drop a bunch of pics of random stuff i made
over past couple of months..
and while i'd love to blog all of those garments individually
i simply no longer have the energy needed to do that
plus i'm not really sure people read blogs nowadays, so why bother, right
..
..
but i do still enjoy reading other people's blogs
so i thought i'll just try to resurrect this little blog of mine
give it another go
as there was a time i really enjoyed sharing the stuff i made
..
give it another go
as there was a time i really enjoyed sharing the stuff i made
..
anyways.. all the things are made using burda patterns
(except for linen dress from the first photo
and caramel colored pleated skirt,
i created patterns for those)
..
sewing some coats these days
gonna try to write a proper post about them
once they're finished
..

I love your style! The drapey magenta trousers are amazing. Also there's at least one person reading blogs still, if that helps.
ReplyDeletethanks for the lovely words :)
Deletei'm still not sure do i like those pants or not.. they drape nicely, and are super comfy though, so i wear them anyways
They are amazing! I definitely vote yes on those pants. All of the pants in this post actually.
Deletethanks :)
DeleteIt is good you are back!
ReplyDeleteI like what you are doing and I think people do read blogs nowadays, so keep posting your work :)
What patterns did you use? I mean numbers of Burda patterns...
thanks :) i wasn't feeling like blogging for a long time, but lately i started missing it, so i thought i might just get back to it :)
Deletethere's a lot of patterns involved, i got lazy when it comes too looking them all up.. do you have a specific one in mind, i can check the pattern no. for it.. pants are #103, 02/2012.. drapey pants are #106, 11/2016.. rompers are all #102, 07/2017.. V back dress #115 04/2016...
Your blog has always been one of my favorites. I love seeing your projects. Are those cranes on the light blue shirt?
ReplyDeletethanks :)
Deleteyup, it's cranes! that print was quite a hit, everyone loved the blouse! i made that blouse for my shop, and it sold the next day (that never happens).. unfortunately, i can't buy more of the fabric, as they don't have it on bolt, but it ocasionally appears in remnant bin, so i have to keep my eyes open if it pops up again :D
I definitely still read blogs and I'm happy you've posted again!
ReplyDeleteI love the pants and blazers here especially. I really need to make some similar ones. I think the soft blazers, especially, is what I really need in my wardrobe right now.
Looking forward to future posts -- and I definitely don't mind "collection" posts like these. Maybe it's an age thing (LOL) but I still feel I get a lot out of blogs, and honestly, a bit more than from just Instagram.
i'm really in love with this blazer silhouette, and this pattern in particular (it's #126 from April 2014).. i made only one for me, and it's probably my most worn garment in last year
Deleteand i agree, while i do love me some instagram, i really miss the blogs golden time.. and i'm glad that some of the blogs i love are still around, cause nothing pairs with my morning cup of coffee as well as checking out what everyone's been sewing lately
Hi! I'm glad you are back - I've always loved your blog (and your photography too!). Looking forward to seeing the coat you are working on. :)
ReplyDeletethanks! i'm glad i'm back too :).. and it's always nice to 'see' you here! hope things are going well for you and the kiddos
DeleteI've always enjoyed reading your blog. You've made some really nice things here, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletethank you :) hope i'll be sharing what i make more regularly from now on
DeleteI like reading blogs, and I enjoy seeing all of your creations. You have such an individual style, which is refreshing.
ReplyDeletethanks :)
Deleteone of the main things i like about the blogs is how you can track someone's style evolving over years
I read your blog! Please don't stop :) all of these pretty summer clothes make me want to sew some summer stuff, I think it's a bit late though... it also makes me want to dig back into my burda patterns and finally figure out what my size is.
ReplyDeleteoh, tell me about that! there is still at least 10 more summer garments i wanted to make this season (and now i probably never will, as next summer is going to bring new patterns and new sewing plans, and old ones will be forgoten)
DeleteAnother avid reader here. Your makes inspire me and I'd love it if you keep blogging. I get it though...I have the same thoughts about who, if anybody, is reading blogs these days....I still read them and much prefer them over other social media.
ReplyDeleteone day i actually spent some time reading my own blog, and i found that window into old "me" to be rather interesting, i guess that's why i decided i'd like to blog more regularly again.. even if nobody else is reading, it's nice to keep blog as some sort of a visual diary :)
DeleteYou know...I've done that too and I was grateful for the read. :) I guess when we say we are blogging for ourselves, it's actually quite true!
DeleteI read heaps of blogs every morning. I love your style and your creativity. If you continue blogging I for one will be following.
ReplyDelete:) thanks.. you just described my morning routine too
DeleteHa! Pa to je moja jutarnja rutina! Pola sata pred spremanje za posao, dok svi jos spavaju. Drago mi je da si se vratila
ReplyDeletehvala, i meni je :) slazem se, nema boljeg pocetka dana od toga
DeleteWelcome back! I did miss reading your blog too! And I do hope there is more to come
ReplyDeletethanks! yup, there's more to come i guess, i'm sewing up a storm every week, will try to share it more often
DeleteI've always enjoyed your work :)
ReplyDeletethanks
DeleteI love your blog! You have a really interesting style that's wholly inspiring.. Look forward to your next post 😉
ReplyDeletethanks for the lovely words!
Delete👏🏻👏🏻 yay - I always enjoy your posts, so please do continue. Gorgeous makes as always.
ReplyDeletethanks, my dear!
Deleteyou have been busy! love the mix of makes. I am starting a new job soon and need some new 'blouses/tops' and like the back pleat detail in your aqua one (jealous of that fabric). I love your blog, and my routine is to read blogs in the morning at breakfast, and home sewing blogs (although I dont actually know the writer) gives me a great sense of community...I am constantly inspired in some way by them
ReplyDeleteif you wanna make that top, pattern is #103, burda 03/2016, i've made it 5 or 6 times so far, love every single version of it..
Deleteand i agree about the sense of community, that was what made me start my blog way back then, when i 'met' all the awesome ladies making all the stuff and being all super suportive.. back then i knew noone who sew irl, so it helped having 'friends' that are not bored by sewing talks :)
still reading blogs over here ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou made quite a collection! I'm always impressed with your makes
thanks, gorgeous lady! and your blog is totally one of my faves
DeleteI read your blog too! I've tried to get into Instagram but I just Don't Get It. Anyway those look lovely and I'm now trying to guess the patterns. Pretty sure I know the draped trousers and the wrap style dress. I don't remember the pattern for the black and white dress with the cut in shoulders but don't tell me, at least not yet :-)
ReplyDeletewhile i do love instagram, it's totally different kind of fun..
Deletei'm so glad you're back to regular blogging too, i've always found the things you make super inspiring!
and i'll just say the dress pattern is recent one :) and i used only bodice pattern, skirt is from some couple years old burda
I love, love, love your blog! It's one of my favorites. I just very rarely ever comment... :/
ReplyDeletethanks for the love :D
Deletei've always loved and enjoyed reading your blog! it's a treat when i see one of your posts pop up. the teal/aqua colored blouse with the inverted pleat on the back is just perfection. so much eye candy in one post!
ReplyDeletethanks <3
Deletethat blouse is such a hit, crane fabric is everything!
I love blogs and do a bit of blogging myself, and think blogs are a fun way to share makes and learnings with more detail than Instagram, so I hope you keep it up because your makes are fabulous! Love the top with the pleated back...what pattern, if I may ask?
ReplyDeletethanks for the lovely words :)
Deletepattern is #103, burda 03/2016
I view a lot of sewing blogs, and these garments look fabulously well sewn, as well as the fabric selection and pattern choice being top notch. Keep them coming!
ReplyDeletethanks :) i'm sewing up a storm these days, so new posts are definitely coming
DeleteGreat inspiration- thank you for posting :-)
ReplyDeletethank you :)
DeleteSo many fabulous garments and lucky friends! Your sewing is as always, like a breath of fresh air to look at.
ReplyDeletethanks for the lovely words :)
