summertime

dress - burda 03/2013, #111, modified

last month i've sewn a prom dress for a client:
pale pink silk mini dress
with strappy back..
and i loved the way those straps turned out
so i made one for myself too
..
obviously, mine is not mini, nor pale pink
and definitely not made out of 40eur/m silk
but, with the tropical heat that we have these days,
rayon challis is better choice anyways

    1. :) me too.. funny thing is, that the moment i sewed it, weather changed, and it's too cold for open back dress.. so i have to wait to wear it again

    1. thanks.. yup, pretty damn tricky.. mostly because i was too lazy to wait for my friend tea to be in our sewing workshop, and help me with them, so i had to do the straps on my own.. such a pain in the ass! they are not perfectly balanced, but i couldn't care less :)
